Career Opportunity: Hospitality and Food Technology Teacher Role

We are seeking a dynamic teacher to join our team of expert practitioners in the design and delivery of the Australian Curriculum and ACT Board of Senior Secondary Studies (BSSS) courses.

The position will suit a teacher who has the ability, professional qualifications and interest in teaching Hospitality and Food Technology. Our Technologies faculty is a highly skilled, professional, creative and dynamic team who is passionate about Technology curriculum and pedagogical practice.

In conjunction with teaching a range of subjects, our teachers are expert practitioners and leaders in curriculum design and resource development. They attend and lead professional learning and successfully use technology in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver engaging lessons that cater to diverse student needs
  • Develop and implement innovative curriculum resources that promote high-impact teaching practices
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum design and delivery
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master in Teaching qualification
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration
  • Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration
