Culinary Professional

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced culinary professional to join our team at Joondalup Health Campus.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and serve nutritious and delightful meals for patients, staff, visitors, and various functions at the hospital
  2. Ensure that all meals are served in appropriate portions, at the correct temperature
  3. Adhere to all aspects of Food Safety Standards of Australia and New Zealand
  4. Demonstrate a keen understanding and capability to meet the dietary needs of all customers
  5. Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen and food preparation areas
  6. Assist in the procurement of food stock, ingredients supplies, and equipment

Requirements:

  1. A trade Certificate in Catering/Chef
  2. A Food Hygiene Certificate or HACCP Training Certificate
  3. Demonstrated expertise as a chef in a large-scale food preparation setting
  4. Exceptional time management skills
  5. A firm commitment to delivering food services of the highest quality
  6. A dedicated commitment to maintaining stringent hygiene standards
