Culinary Educator

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic educator to join our team as a teacher of Hospitality and Food Technology. This role will suit an individual with expertise in curriculum design and delivery, who is passionate about teaching and mentoring students in this subject discipline.

The successful applicant will have a proven track record of implementing engaging and effective learning strategies, and will be committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students. The position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• To teach a range of Australian Curriculum and Board of Senior Secondary Studies (BSSS) courses in Hospitality and Food Technology.
• To develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse student needs.
• To assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
• To participate in professional learning and contribute to school-wide initiatives to improve teaching and learning practices.
• To maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor of Teaching or Master in Teaching degree.
• Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration.
• Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration.
