Teaching Position: Hospitality and Food Technology

The Catholic Education system is seeking a dynamic teacher of Hospitality and Food Technology to join their team in Canberra, Australia.

As a highly skilled and creative educator, you will be responsible for teaching a range of Australian Curriculum and BSSS courses, including Hospitality and Food Technology. You will design and deliver engaging lessons, develop and implement curriculum resources, attend and lead professional learning opportunities, and collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative curriculum and pedagogical approaches.

  • Design and deliver engaging lessons that cater to diverse student needs and abilities.
  • Develop and implement curriculum resources that support evidence-based, high-impact teaching practice.
  • Attend and lead professional learning opportunities to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and pedagogical practices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative curriculum and pedagogical approaches that promote student engagement and academic achievement.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver engaging lessons in Hospitality and Food Technology.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a teacher of Hospitality and Food Technology.
  • Strong understanding of the Australian Curriculum and BSSS courses.
  • Ability to design and deliver engaging lessons using technology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional learning and development.
