Combo Operator

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Combo Operator. The successful candidate will be responsible for various tasks including turf preparation, tree installation, garden bed preparation, mulch spreading, trenching, post hole digging and spoil and rubbish disposal.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Turf preparation using appropriate equipment and techniques.
  • Installation of trees and other plants in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Garden bed preparation to ensure optimal growth and development.
  • Mulch spreading to maintain soil health and appearance.
  • Trenching for irrigation and other purposes.
  • Post hole digging for fence posts and other structures.
  • Spoil and rubbish disposal in a safe and environmentally friendly manner.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Requirements:
  • Hazardous Chemicals Handling Licence (HR License).
  • Skid steer ticket demonstrating competence in operating this type of equipment.
  • Excavator (5 tonne) ticket showing proficiency in operating excavators.
  • Current OHS Construction Induction (White Card).
  • Certificate of Competency for operating machinery.
  • Valid QLD Drivers Licence.

To be considered for this role, you must participate in on-site Verification of Operator Competency and demonstrate a positive attitude towards work and safety.
