Project Manager - Construction Industry Expert

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational delivery of projects, ensuring compliance with client and contractual requirements, program and procedures, and relevant legislation.
  • Management of project personnel to achieve superior team performance in scope, time, cost, and profitability, quality, human resources, communications, risk management, health, safety, and environment, and procurement.
  • Contributing to the tendering process, particularly in relation to methodology, buildability, risk management, and subcontractor involvement.
  • Assisting the Associate Director/Senior Project Manager in developing and maintaining superior client and key stakeholder relationships.
  • Chairing and minuting meetings as required.
  • Ensuring developed systems and procedures are fully implemented to prevent non-compliance with third-party accreditations.
  • Tracking risks and opportunities on the project to keep the client informed of key issues.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Ideal qualifications include a University degree in Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, Planning, Design, or Construction, with formal project methodologies desirable.
  • End-to-end project oversight and delivery, including project planning, budget management, risk management, issue management, personnel management, client management, commercial issue management, testing management, and an understanding of the real estate/property industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to converse with all levels of staff from senior management to technical staff.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and Microsoft Project.
