Senior Suspension Systems Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Suspension Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of innovative suspension systems.

About the Role

  • Lead the full product development lifecycle for suspension systems, overseeing the team to drive projects from concept through to validation and release.
  • Guide a high-performing team of engineers through design, simulation, testing, and validation.
  • Oversee product performance across kinematics, durability, safety, and off-road capability.
  • Manage project planning across cross-functional teams, ensuring resources, timelines, and outcomes are optimized.
  • Drive continuous improvement, leveraging modern engineering tools and innovative thinking.
  • Contribute to strategic decision-making across R&D and product development.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in suspension development or vehicle dynamics.
  • Experience leading and developing specialist teams of engineers.
  • Technical depth in off-road vehicle behavior, suspension design, kinematics.
  • Strong skills in CAD (e.g. SolidWorks, CATIA) and simulation tools (e.g. Adams, Simpack).
  • A deep understanding of relevant standards (ADR, ISO, SAE).
  • Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
  • A genuine interest in 4WDs, performance vehicles, or off-road applications.
