Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full product development lifecycle for suspension and vehicle dynamics, overseeing the team to drive projects from concept through to validation and release.
- Guide a high-performing team of engineers through design, simulation, testing, and validation.
- Oversee product performance across kinematics, durability, safety, and off-road capability.
- Lead project planning across cross-functional teams, managing resources, timelines, and outcomes.
- Champion continuous improvement, modern engineering tools, and innovative thinking.
- Contribute to strategic decision-making across R&D and product development.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in suspension development or vehicle dynamics.
- Experience leading and developing specialist teams of engineers.
- Technical depth in off-road vehicle behaviour, suspension design, kinematics.
- Strong skills in CAD (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and simulation tools (e.g., Adams, Simpack).
- A deep understanding of relevant standards (ADR, ISO, SAE).
- Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
- A genuine interest in 4WDs, performance vehicles, or off-road applications.
