We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Design and Development Engineer for Off-Road Suspension Systems.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing suspension systems and vehicle dynamics components for off-road vehicles. This will involve working across the product development lifecycle, from concept to validation and release.
- Develop cutting-edge suspension systems and off-road solutions that meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and solutions into our suspension offerings.
- Manage project timelines and resources to ensure suspension projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory changes, incorporating relevant advancements into the suspension product development process.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in suspension design and vehicle dynamics.
- Strong knowledge of suspension systems, vehicle dynamics, off-road vehicle performance, and related engineering principles.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Understanding of Australian Design Rules (ADR) and international standards (ISO, SAE, UNECE) for vehicle dynamics and suspension systems.
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks) and simulation tools for vehicle dynamics (e.g., Adams, Simpack).
- Familiarity with testing methods and instrumentation used in suspension and vehicle dynamics development.
- A passion for off-road vehicles, motorsports, and adventure driving, with a deep understanding of the unique requirements of 4x4 systems.
