Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to external service and breakdown requests, prioritizing tasks to ensure timely completion.
  • Installation and commissioning of large hydraulic projects, ensuring all work meets quality standards.
  • Develop proactive responses to faults, maintenance, or modernisation topics, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Fault-finding diagnosis and product analysis reporting, providing detailed documentation for customers.
  • Hydraulic system fault finding and testing, using advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues.
  • Ordering and gathering components, installation, performing tests, identifying further repairs, and spare parts opportunities.
  • Maintaining customer confidentiality and adhering to company policies.
  • Prepare service quotations and follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
  • Upload all relevant External Service documentation, including vendor quotations, delivery dockets, service quotations, and service reports.
  • Ensure quality control through documenting of tests and installations, supplying customer documentation.
  • Conduct on-site inspections, repairs, installations, and testing on Hydraulic components and associated equipment.
Requirements
  • Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen.
  • Hydraulic fitter trade or equivalent qualification.
  • 5 years of field service or hydraulic system experience.
  • Competent level of hydraulic knowledge, with ability to apply theoretical concepts in practical situations.
  • High focus on Quality and attention to detail, ensuring all work meets company standards.
  • Dynamic performer and achiever, with ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Planning and organisational skills, managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to engage with customers and colleagues.
