Duties and Responsibilities

As a Service Technician with Dormakaba, you will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support to our customers. This will involve carrying out preventative maintenance, breakdown repair, and fault diagnosis for automated doors, as well as some major works.

You will work independently and be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and in line with company policies and procedures.

A key aspect of this role will be to provide excellent customer service and support, ensuring that customers are satisfied with the level of service provided.

You will also be required to work on-site at customer locations, which may involve working at heights and in confined spaces.

In addition to your technical skills, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as you will be working with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders on a regular basis.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Service Technician who can work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality results.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Automated door maintenance and repair experience
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of electrical safety principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
