We are seeking an accomplished Energy Contract Manager to join our Embedded Networks and Energy team. This is a challenging role where you will be responsible for managing procurement, contract administration, operational monitoring, and support of energy regulation, supply, and energy service contracts within the Energy and Renewables business unit.

About the Role

  • Strategic - Manage procurement and contract administration of allocated energy supply and services, ensuring contracts meet objectives in terms of health and safety, time, cost, and quality.
  • Commercial - Prepare tenders, review scope and specifications, communicate with suppliers, analyze data, make business recommendations, and negotiate contracts.
  • Regulation - Monitor regulatory changes, provide reviews, and submission preparation, offer guidance on regulatory requirements, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Operations - Support general energy group operations, including customer inquiries, debt inquiries, customer billing inquiries, and liaison with centre experience teams (in conjunction with service providers), as well as escalated dispute resolution with partners.
  • Innovation - Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and implement process improvements within procurement and contract administration.
  • People - Maintain close working relationships with potential and current partners and engage with internal stakeholders such as Legal and Finance.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Manage contracts, including negotiation, renewal, and termination.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and partners.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Analyze data to inform business decisions.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Requirements

  • Diploma or tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Law, Building Services, or Facilities Management.
  • 3+ years' experience in Contracts Administration on Energy or Facilities Maintenance contracts.
  • Strong commercial acumen and critical thinking.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and share ideas.
