Job Description

This role at Wee Waa Community Hospital provides an exciting chance to practice nursing in a dynamic, autonomous environment with opportunities for ongoing education and support.

  • As a Registered Nurse in this Emergency Department-style setting, you will be responsible for providing front-line care, exercising sound clinical judgment, and liaising with the virtual ED medical team for patient management.

You will also have the opportunity to engage with the local community in a culturally respectful and meaningful way, supporting junior staff and contributing to clinical education.

Requirements
  • AHPRA-registered Registered Nurse with experience in ED/urgent care settings and/or triage (or willing to work toward this)
  • Confident in clinical autonomy and decision-making
  • Flexible, community-minded, and able to adapt to rural health challenges
