An exciting role has emerged for a skilled Registered Nurse in a rural setting. This is an opportunity to make a real difference in the community, working in an Emergency Department-style environment where no two days are the same.
As a Registered Nurse at Wee Waa Community Hospital, you will primarily work in a dynamic and autonomous setting, seeing everything from walk-in outpatients to triage presentations. You will need to think critically, act independently, and make sound clinical judgements.

- Exercise sound clinical and situational judgment without a doctor on site
- Liaise with the virtual ED medical team for patient management
- Support junior staff and contribute to clinical education

- Up to $20,000 in relocation assistance PLUS up to $10,000 each year thereafter in fortnightly payments under the Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme
- Relocation benefits and family travel assistance
- Limited staff accommodation in a shared residence and assistance sourcing local rental options or short-term units
- Ongoing professional development for all Nurses - Postgraduate nursing and midwifery scholarships
- Regular support from a Clinical Nurse Educator and ongoing upskilling opportunities
- Monthly Allocated Days Off for full-time employees
- 4 weeks annual leave (pro-rata for part-time)
- Paid parental leave (for eligible employees)
- Salary packaging options - up to $11,600 plus novated leasing
- Fitness Passport for health and well-being
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for staff and family
- AHPRA-registered Registered Nurse
- Confident in clinical autonomy and decision-making
