Pas Regional Manager Position

Description:

We seek an experienced regional manager to oversee contractual agreements with Defence for the region, ensuring optimal performance.

 

About the Role
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of contractual agreements with service providers across multiple bases in South Australia.
  • Develop and monitor budgets for base services to ensure cost-effective operations and consistency in financial management.
  • Establish performance metrics and conduct regular evaluations to ensure service providers meet contractual obligations and maintain high standards.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including military personnel, service providers, and government officials, across all bases.
  • Implement and promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of base services across the region.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on contract performance, operational issues to senior management.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Management, Logistics, or a related field, or relevant experience in a senior management position managing a high-profile critical portfolio.
  • Proven experience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks in complex operational environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Experience in overseeing procurement processes, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships.
  • Track record of implementing and promoting continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to prepare and present regular reports on contract performance, operational issues.
  • Experience contributing to the development and implementation of strategic plans for service delivery.
  • Expertise in developing, monitoring, and controlling budgets for base services.
