Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team covering business analysis, demand management, release, and user experience (UX) to ensure digital solutions are strategically identified, optimised, and retired.
  • Collaborate closely with the Domain Architect to ensure digital solutions are aligned with the university's strategic objectives.
  • Develop and maintain portfolio roadmaps in collaboration with business areas, Portfolio Architects, and technical leads to ensure alignment with the future needs and strategic goals of the organisation.
  • Oversee user experience (UX) practices across the organisation to ensure consistent application of UX principles and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Work with technical SMEs to develop robust investment proposals and business cases for digital initiatives.
What You Need to Succeed
  1. Education, training, and/or relevant IT experience equivalent to completion of a postgraduate qualification in conjunction with significant experience in the development and management of IT services relating to higher education technologies.
  2. Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to inspire and manage multidisciplinary teams.
  3. Demonstrated ability to provide strategic leadership and high-level advice, with a proven track record of aligning digital capabilities with organisational goals.
  4. Demonstrated experience in leading collaborative engagements with diverse stakeholders, including project management offices, enterprise architecture, and business areas.
  5. Proven experience in developing and maintaining portfolio roadmaps and overseeing user experience (UX) practices.
  6. Demonstrated expertise in working with technical SMEs to develop robust investment proposals and business cases for digital initiatives.
