This leadership role is focused on supporting offender rehabilitation and community reintegration through a therapeutic approach.

As a Team Leader, you will oversee the delivery of therapeutic programs and case management for offenders with severe substance use disorders.

  • Lead a team of five Services and Programs Officers, managing their professional development and HR-related functions.
  • Act as the primary liaison with the Drug Court of NSW, Justice Health, and Corrective Services NSW.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community service providers to facilitate successful reintegration.
  • Deliver evidence-based, accredited programs and intensive case management to offenders.

You will drive a culture aligned with human rights frameworks and rehabilitation principles.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience working with individuals presenting Severe Substance Use Disorders.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a multidisciplinary team.
  • Expertise in using strengths-based and therapeutic approaches with resistant clients.
  • Exceptional time management, resilience, and attention to detail.
