The OpportunityWe're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Land, Planning and Environment to lead our land, planning, and environmental functions. As a key member of our team, you'll provide strategic direction and expertise on land, planning, and environmental issues impacting our projects.
You'll work closely with government departments and industry stakeholders to provide authoritative advice and build strong relationships. Your expertise will be essential in developing and implementing planning functions across Vic Grid, including leading planning and heritage processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction across the Land, Planning Environment function
- Oversee the development and implementation of planning functions across Vic Grid
- Provide expert advice on planning, environmental, and heritage matters
- Manage planning and approvals processes, including planning scheme amendments and permit applications
We're looking for someone with a deep understanding of the Victorian planning and approvals process, as well as experience in managing heritage, cultural, and indigenous issues. You'll need a relevant tertiary qualification and/or experience in urban planning, environmental management, or a similar discipline.
