The OpportunityWe're seeking a highly skilled Director, Land, Planning and Environment to lead our planning and environmental functions. As a key member of our team, you'll provide strategic direction and expertise on land, planning, and environmental issues impacting our projects. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping Victoria's renewable energy transition.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and direction to the Land, Planning and Environment function
- Develop and implement planning functions across Vic Grid, including leading planning and heritage processes
- Provide expert advice on planning, environmental, and heritage matters to major project teams
- Manage planning and approvals processes, including planning scheme amendments and permit applications
- Knowledge of the Victorian planning and approvals process and relevant legislation
- Excellent understanding of heritage, cultural, and indigenous issues and experience in managing their impact on infrastructure projects
- Demonstrated ability to manage and provide technical advice on planning and environmental matters
- Relevant tertiary qualification and/or experience in urban planning, environmental management, or a related field
