Learning Development Specialist Opportunity

Our organization is seeking an experienced Learning Development Specialist to drive the success of our Graduate Program and Apprentice Program. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in identifying training needs within the business and implementing relevant training programs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the central learning hub, managing the learning calendar and events, updating learning news, and resources. They will also coordinate our Development Programs, including Leadership Program and Supervisor Foundation Program, and support new employee onboarding through engaging e-learning modules and guides.

  • Maintain a tertiary qualification in Learning and Development or Human Resources.
  • Hold a minimum 2 years' experience in a Learning and Development role within an engineering or construction company.
  • Have previous experience managing Learning and Development programs and initiatives.
  • Be able to build strong relationships and communicate effectively across all levels.
  • Demonstrate strong Microsoft skills and computer literacy.
  • Display a passion for Learning and Development.
  • Exhibit a curious mindset with a proactive approach to seek knowledge and problem solve.
  • Employ a team-focused approach, contributing to a continuous improvement culture.
