Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled trainer to join our team. As a trainer, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating training activities, ensuring conformance with site requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Liaising with supervisors and trainees to plan and coordinate training and assessment activities
  2. Development of retraining plans for individuals who do not achieve the required results during assessment activities
  3. Facilitating various training sessions, including inductions, on-the-job-training and assessments
  4. Evaluating the effectiveness of training
  5. Maintaining and documenting training records accurately in INX InTuition
  6. Ensuring all formal documents involved in training and assessment are current and completed correctly
  7. Ensuring that appropriate induction training is completed
  8. Ensuring that candidates complete all training requirements prior to undertaking assessment
  9. Ensuring that all workers are competent based on appropriate education, training, skills and experience

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (Required)
  • Current unrestricted WA Class 'C' Driver's License
  • National Police Clearance (12-month validity)
  • Experience in the gold mining industry (ideally UG and/or training desirable)
  • Sound understanding of mining operations and safety regulations in Western Australia
  • Demonstrated capability to manage projects, meet deadlines and operate independently
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills
