Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to provide personal support to individuals with disability, illness or mental health conditions within their homes.

You will assist clients with daily tasks such as domestic assistance, personal care, skill development and social support. This includes light house cleaning, meal preparation, showering and daily hygiene, monitoring of health and wellbeing, community access to appointments, social events and shopping.

As a key member of our team, you will establish rapport and collaborate effectively with clients and their families. You will promote independence according to individual needs and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Domestic assistance including light house cleaning and meal preparation
  • Personal care inclusive of showering, daily hygiene, monitoring of health and wellbeing
  • Skill development and social support
  • Community access to appointments, social events and shopping
  • Promote independence according to individual needs and goals
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Individual Support, Ageing Support or similar
  • Australian Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle with minimum third-party insurance
  • Strong communication skills with ability to build and maintain positive relationships
  • Excellent organisational skills, hygiene practices and problem-solving abilities
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
