Job Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate professional to lead our safety and compliance journey as a National HSEQ Manager. This is a pivotal leadership role with the opportunity to make a lasting impact.

This position plays a critical role in shaping the organization's health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a high-performing team across multiple sites, guiding executive-led safety initiatives, and driving capability uplift within the safety team and across the organization.

  • Lead and develop a HSEQ operations team, providing strategic direction and coaching to ensure excellence in safety performance.
  • Guide executive-led safety initiatives, ensuring high engagement and accountability from senior leaders and employees alike.
  • Drive capability uplift within the safety team and across the organization, identifying training needs and organizing effective training programs.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and continuous improvement in maintenance of HSEQ systems, including risk management, SWMS, SOPs, and PPE.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on key HSEQ performance indicators to measure effectiveness of plans and drive business improvement.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll work closely with senior leadership to create the safety vision and strategy for the business, embedding a safety-first mindset across all levels of the organization.

Requirements
  • Relevant qualification in Health, Safety, Environment or Quality related discipline.
  • Minimum 15 years' experience in WHS/HSEQ roles, with at least 5 years in senior leadership positions.
  • ICAM certification and Lead Auditor qualifications.
  • Competence in maintaining an accredited HSEQ management system.
  • Relevant experience in the industrial construction industry, preferably precast concrete.
  • Proven experience in developing and embedding WHS systems across complex business units.
  • The ability to travel interstate to NSW and/or QLD once per month.
