The role of a Food Service Assistant in an Aged Care facility is busy yet rewarding. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to residents during meal service.
  • Assisting with basic food preparation and setup.
  • Cleaning down after meal service and maintaining a clean environment.

Part-time positions are available, with shifts offered throughout all 7 days to suit your availability. Some hospitality experience and a certificate in food safety are highly valued. It is mandatory for all staff to hold a National Police Check or NDIS Worker Screening Check, be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, and complete any required training.
