Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Food Service Assistant to join our team at Contemporary Catering. As a Food Service Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality customer service to residents, assisting with food preparation, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
About the Role: This is a part-time position available, with shifts offered throughout all 7 days to suit your availability. You will be working in a busy but rewarding environment, providing meals and snacks to residents in an Aged Care facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high customer service to residents when serving meals.
- Assist with basic food preparation, including setting up for meal service and cleaning down afterwards.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to food safety standards.
Requirements: Some hospitality experience is highly valued, along with a certificate in food safety. It is mandatory for anyone working in Aged Care to complete and hold a National Police Check or an NDIS Worker Screening Check, be fully vaccinated (including the booster) for COVID-19.
