Inventory Management Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inventory Management Specialist to join our team. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, operational insight, and the ability to drive business success through efficient inventory management.
Job Description:
As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless stock management across a complex supply chain. You will be responsible for championing a culture of safety and sustainability, driving efficient warehouse operations, managing waste and salvage processes, and overseeing stock control activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead initiatives to maintain compliance protocols and ensure all team members are trained and supported in safe work practices.
- Drive operational excellence by maintaining a clean and organized environment, supporting stocktake activities, and optimizing product storage and pick paths.
- Manage waste and salvage processes to minimize excess and ensure appropriate handling of obsolete or recalled materials.
- Oversee stock control activities including inbound management, cycle counts, returns, and data accuracy to ensure inventory integrity and operational flow.
- Provide effective leadership by resolving team issues, embedding safety into daily operations, and contributing to site productivity and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience managing inventory in large-scale warehousing environments.
- Tertiary qualifications in logistics or operations management, or equivalent relevant work history.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to lead a team while managing individual responsibilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP, with sound computer literacy for inventory tracking and reporting.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with a collaborative approach to achieving shared business outcomes.
