Job Title: Parts Person

We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team as a Parts Person. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving and processing parts orders, as well as maintaining accurate records of stock levels and inventory management.

About the Role:

  • Receiving and Processing Parts Orders: You will be responsible for receiving and processing parts orders from customers, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintaining Accurate Records: You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of stock levels and inventory management, including tracking and recording all parts received and dispatched.
  • Stockroom Management: You will be responsible for managing the stockroom, including receiving and storing new parts, and ensuring that all parts are properly labeled and organized.
  • Inventory Control: You will be responsible for controlling inventory levels, including ordering and receiving new parts as needed, and implementing strategies to minimize waste and excess stock.

Requirements:

  • Automotive Knowledge: You should have a strong knowledge of cars and car parts, including understanding of mechanical systems and components.
  • Experience: You should have experience in a similar role, preferably in a retail or warehouse environment.
  • Communication Skills: You should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
  • Organizational Skills: You should have strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Technical Skills: You should have basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management software and other technical tools.
