Warehouse Management Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, ensuring that they are conducted safely and efficiently.

  • Key responsibilities include monitoring space and tracking stock levels, reporting on short- and long-term needs, and ensuring products are received and checked against Purchase Order receipts, monitoring for any discrepancies and escalating where necessary.
  • You will also be responsible for managing operational logistics, including fleet maintenance, and actively achieving warehouse targets, logistics of deadlines and required time-frames for pick-up and delivery.
  • An additional key responsibility will be communicating with Sales & Operations staff regarding any back-orders or items that cannot be fulfilled by the required date.

About You:

  • Applicants should have proven experience in managing a fast-paced warehouse environment, with demonstrated ability to develop and drive warehouse improvements and efficiencies.
  • Candidates should also possess proven experience in working with warehouse management systems and good customer service and communication skills.
  • The ideal candidate will have high attention to detail to ensure accuracy levels are maintained to a high standard.
  • Suitable candidates will be expected to support, mentor and audit of warehousing operations, inclusive of service branches and regional supply hubs, as well as manage inventory settings for the business via the material planning function.
  • Recommendations to management for treatment plans for slow moving and obsolete inventory would also be beneficial.
