Key Role in Macadamia and Avocado Expansion

We are seeking an Account Manager to expand our services into new markets, focusing on macadamia and avocado.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in account management, preferably in the agri-tech or technology industry.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and qualifying new business opportunities in assigned territories
  • Building and maintaining a healthy pipeline of prospects
  • Developing compelling proposals and presentations
  • Navigating complex sales cycles and negotiations
  • Meeting or exceeding quarterly revenue targets
  • Visiting current customers and prospective clients to establish business opportunities
  • Owning the entire customer lifecycle from onboarding through renewal
  • Assessing customer needs, solving technical issues, and driving product adoption and usage
  • Developing and executing account plans to maximize customer value
  • Monitoring and improving customer satisfaction metrics
  • Monitoring account health and identifying expansion opportunities
  • Conducting regular business reviews with key stakeholders
  • Securing renewals and growing existing accounts
  • Gathering and communicating customer feedback to internal teams
  • Creating customer success stories and case studies
  • Acting as the voice of the customer internally

Requirements:

  • Hold at least a Bachelor degree
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in account management, preferably in the agri-tech or technology industry
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset and the ability to build rapport and trust with customers
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle customer issues and escalations effectively
  • Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Familiarity with agricultural practices and technologies is highly desirable
  • Established relationships within the Avocado and Macadamia industry are beneficial
