Manufacturing Excellence Manager sought for a Permanent Full Time Role.

We are currently seeking an experienced Manufacturing Excellence Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our workshop, driving efficiency and quality in all aspects of production. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to ensure effective and efficient team performance
  • Evaluate and implement process improvements to reduce costs and lead times
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to achieve common goals
  • Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and profitability

Requirements:

  • Relevant trade qualification or degree in a related field
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a heavy fabrication environment
  • Strong understanding of Six Sigma, LEAN, or KAIZEN principles
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
