Your Opportunity:

We have a great new growth opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Manager to join our dynamic team at our new site at East Rockingham, WA.

The key objectives of this role are to:
  • Drive a culture of safety through leadership, role modelling and compliance to safety systems
  • Drive improvement on quality standards across the site, ensuring the site manufactures products that meet all our quality standards and specifications
  • Identify, make recommendations, and drive continuous improvement for site operations
  • Identify business risks with recommendations to eliminate / alleviate
  • Drive plant performance standards including downtime and efficiency
  • Assist with implementation of Lean Manufacturing methodologies including but not limited to 5S, Daily Operations Management process, Visual Management, teamwork, and autonomous maintenance
  • Supervise the operations team through effective communication
  • Coordinate shift scheduling and overtime
  • Weekly/monthly stocktakes of finished products
  • Daily Planning and Tracking of all export containers
About You:
  • Leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Sound understanding of mechanical equipment and safety and environmental aspects of manufacturing
  • Proficient in Export Container management through tracking and planning
  • Strong ability to problem solve and ability to think creatively
  • Excellent work ethic and values importance of producing quality products
  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills
  • Desire to challenge existing processes and procedures to drive continuous improvement
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Valid Forklift licence and/or mobile plant tickets (would be an advantage)
