Senior Financial Systems Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Systems Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial systems, change management, and project leadership.
This role involves leading the configuration, implementation, and oversight of our Finance Operations General Ledger system. You will be responsible for maintaining finance system architecture, refining and improving finance processes and systems, and ensuring that systems operate in accordance with policies.
You will also support BAU and project teams in issue resolution, build out capability on finance systems, and participate in relevant workstreams relating to finance system changes. Additionally, you will ensure that the interests of Finance Operations more broadly are represented within our organization.
The successful candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce and Business studies or an equivalent discipline, with a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in Financial Services Industry. They will possess strong leadership, team focus, and people management skills, as well as excellent oral and written communication and negotiation skills.
