Project Manager Job Opportunity

This is a fantastic chance for skilled professionals to take on a challenging project management role, overseeing end-to-end delivery and ensuring quality outcomes for stakeholders and communities.

We are seeking an experienced project manager who can coordinate and manage all aspects of building project implementation, including pre-design, design, documentation, contract administration, and post-construction phases. The ideal candidate will lead and collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and contractors to achieve scope, time, cost, and quality objectives.

The successful candidate will also oversee procurement and provide expert contract coordination across various delivery methods. Additionally, they will drive stakeholder engagement and negotiations to achieve value for money and strategic outcomes.

In this role, you will monitor progress and performance through detailed reporting, audits, and variance control. You will also support senior leadership with project planning, fee approvals, and billing processes.

To be successful in this position, you must have demonstrated experience delivering complex building projects, ideally in a government or large-scale environment. You should also have proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage external stakeholders.

Strong understanding of procurement, contract administration, and construction methodologies is essential. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are also required. A valid driver's license and relevant tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, Town Planning, or Quantity Surveying are highly regarded.

Preferred qualifications include holding a Current Builders Supervisors License, a current Open Class C Driver's License (Queensland) or equivalent, and passing a criminal history check prior to appointment.
