About the Role

Bloomhr is seeking a highly skilled Training Product Developer to join our collaborative and passionate team. As a key member of our workforce planning and development team, you will play a crucial role in developing and ensuring quality assurance of our vocational education and training products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Development: Develop and review vocational education and training products in consultation with sector stakeholders, including development and review of qualifications, skill sets, units of competency, and companion volumes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate workshops with key stakeholders (both online and in-person) to develop and review training products.
  • Content Creation: Draft products end to end and brief and present to a variety of audiences on these products.
  • Consultation and Governance: Follow a consultation and governance process to finalise approvals of products developed; this will include the drafting of associated papers and reports.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build consensus through negotiation with different stakeholders in the development of product content.
Requirements
  • A Certificate IV in Training Assessment and/or a relevant Higher Education qualification.
  • Specialist Knowledge: Demonstrated experience in the development of qualifications and courses, and/or training and assessment materials.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of national VET policy, including the Training Product Organising Framework, Standards for Training Packages, Training Package Products Policy, and Training Package Products Development and Endorsement Process Policy.
  • Analytical and Negotiation Skills: Ability to analyse information in order to identify options, reach logical conclusions, and explain approaches to others.
  • High-Level IT Skills: High-level IT skills in a range of software associated with document content management, stakeholder relationship management systems, project management tools, and Microsoft Office.
