Formwork Specialist Role

About the Job:

Seeking an experienced and skilled formwork specialist to oversee, manage and complete tasks related to formwork on construction sites.

This role requires a proven track record of success, excellent project management skills, and a passion for building safe and quality structures.

A strong communicator with problem-solving and time management abilities is required to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.

  • Read and interpret technical drawings and plans for formwork to ensure accuracy of work.
  • Create formwork templates and tie installations to ensure stability of structures.
  • Inspect formwork quality and safety to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Assist in setting, levelling, and alignment of formwork.
  • Discover and correct errors or issues before pouring of concrete.
  • Strike formwork after pour.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and other trades to discuss project status and associated questions.
  • Report job progress, incidents, and accidents in the workplace.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in formwork and working on construction sites.
  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.

Benefits:

This is a permanent casual role with top hourly rates. Superannuation & LSL additional to wages.

Note:

Must be willing to relocate.
