Role Summary:

We are seeking skilled formworkers to join our team in constructing complex formwork systems for basement and concrete structures. This role involves working closely with a team of skilled tradespeople on various projects throughout Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities

  • Construct and dismantle formwork for concrete structures, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
  • Interpret construction drawings and plans to guide the formwork process.
  • Collaborate with concreters, steel fixers, and other site personnel to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition to optimize efficiency.
  • Adhere to all Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures to create a safe working environment.

About You

  • Proven experience in formwork, preferably in basement or structural concrete projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans accurately.
  • White Card (Construction Induction Card) is mandatory for this role.
  • Relevant trade qualifications or demonstrated experience are essential.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team to achieve project goals.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail are crucial in delivering high-quality results.
  • A valid driver's license and vehicle are required for regular site visits.

Requirements

  • Australia Work Authorisation is necessary for this position.
  • Residency in the local area is required.
