Job Title: Compliance and Process Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the transition of a project in Defence & Social Infrastructure team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership, governance, and oversight of development and implementation of plans, processes, procedures, and functions associated with Engineering Services.
  • Evaluate compliance with Department of Defence, statutory, and legislative requirements.
  • Audit Engineering Services processes to ensure adherence to Commonwealth clothing-related requirements.
  • Review plans, processes, and systems relating to Engineering Services and provide feedback on compliance.
  • Engage with key client staff from the Clothing Systems Project Office to ensure that deliverables meet requirements.
  • Promptly obtain progress reporting from the team and write reports on Engineering Services for stakeholders.
  • Participate in Phase In Coordination meetings and provide input for updating the Ventia Phase In Schedule.
  • Perform site visits for compliance audits and develop plans relating to Engineering Services.
About You:
  • An engineering and project management background accompanied by strong skills in driving governance processes and compliance to requirements is preferred.
  • An ability to work flexibly and adaptively in complex environments with multiple stakeholders is essential.
  • The capacity to successfully engage diverse stakeholders and demonstrated experience in collaborative and consultative processes at a professional level is required.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work as a high-performing member of a team are crucial.
  • Demonstrated written communication and IT skills are necessary.
