Job Title: Senior Bridge Engineering Manager
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Bridge Engineering Manager to lead our bridge engineering capability across Australia. This is a key leadership role responsible for supervising a team of bridge engineers and designers, while providing people leadership and raising bridge knowledge and expertise across the group.
Key Responsibilities- Lead project teams in the delivery, design, and documentation of project requirements;
- Manage contract negotiations including variations, claims and commercial disputes, and ensure fulfilment of contract obligations;
- Provide technical leadership and project management across various multi-disciplined projects;
- Develop and maintain client relationships; and,
- Mentor and develop technical staff.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant degree in civil engineering;
- Extensive industry experience as a Bridge Engineer recognised by clients at state level;
- Ability to lead and direct a team of technical staff;
- Sound knowledge of Australian Standards in current engineering and construction principles, methods and practices; in particular for major infrastructure projects;
- Track record of delivering complex multidisciplinary projects on time and to budget.
