Creative Arts Educator

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated teacher to join our team as a Creative Arts Educator. This is an exciting opportunity to share your passion for the arts with students and contribute to their personal growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Creative Arts, Music, Dance, and Drama to students across all year levels.
Requirements
  • Hold a recognized teaching qualification and be registered to teach in NSW.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals and improve student outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to ensure seamless transitions and support.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Relevant experience in delivering Creative Arts programs, including Music, Dance, and Drama.
  • Ability to work with a school choir or dance group to promote artistic expression and collaboration.
General Capabilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students, staff, and community members.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills to convey complex ideas and engage audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common objectives.
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks, manage time, and meet deadlines.
Qualifications and Accreditations
  • Appropriate qualifications for teaching Primary K–6, including accreditation to teach Religious Education.
  • NESA accreditation to teach in NSW, ensuring compliance with state and national standards.
