We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Automation and Control Systems Developer. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the development, implementation, and optimization of bespoke automation and robotic cells.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement control algorithms for bespoke systems, ensuring precision and efficiency.
  • Design and integrate control systems for real-time operation, focusing on precise movement, sensing, and interaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration into robotic automation and control systems.
  • Conduct simulations and testing to validate control algorithms, mechanical design, and manipulator suitability, optimizing performance to meet cycle time commitments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues, ensuring smooth operation and reliability.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in robotics controls across multiple vendor platforms, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong background in robotics controls and demonstrated experience in developing control algorithms for robotic systems.
  • Familiarity and experience with robotic hardware platforms, PLC programming, sensors, and actuators.
  • Solid understanding of control theory, including PID control, state-space control, and adaptive control.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex control system issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
