Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Systems Automation Expert to join our team. This role involves the design, development, and implementation of electrical and automation systems across various industries, including Water, Manufacturing, and Infrastructure.

The successful candidate will have 8+ years of professional experience in system automation and a strong understanding of control system architecture. They will be responsible for designing, developing, commissioning, testing, and supporting electrical and automation systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical and automation systems for various industries
  • Collaborate with experienced engineers to execute project tasks and implement best practice methodologies
  • Meet project and engineering targets through consistent performance and initiative
  • Develop and maintain a mature technology skillset, including code development skills and methodologies
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Control Systems, or a related field
  • Demonstrable experience applying an engineering approach to problem-solving
  • Mature technology skillset, code development skills, and methodologies (IEC 61131-3 Programming Languages an asset)
  • Proficient in Siemens PLC development using TIA Portal
  • Experience in the design, configuration, and development of WinCC OA
  • Strong understanding of control system architecture
  • Competence in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, I/O schedules, and network diagrams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively, both autonomously and within a team
