Service Technician

The primary responsibility of this role is to perform maintenance and operational duties as instructed. This encompasses reactive calls on our Automated Material Handling System to ensure productivity, asset availability, health & safety compliance, service quality, and teamwork are optimized within agreed timescales.

This role involves working within your assigned shift pattern on tasks involving electrical, instrument, mechanical, and control systems, including the installation, modification, maintenance, and repair of all Vanderlande equipment on site.

  • Installation of new equipment
  • Modification of existing equipment
  • Maintenance and repair of equipment

You will be responsible for ensuring that all work is carried out in a methodical and efficient manner, with minimal disruption to production.

In addition to these duties, you will also be required to possess knowledge of Industrial Network solutions and PLC control systems, as well as experience in service activities on automated materials handling systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
  • Knowledge of Industrial Network solutions and PLC control systems
  • Experience in service activities on automated materials handling systems
