Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled technical support specialist to join our IT team, focusing on delivering exceptional service and resolving complex technical issues.

  • The primary responsibility is to serve as the primary escalation point for technical support inquiries, taking ownership of high-impact or unresolved issues.
  • Investigate, diagnose, and resolve system, device, and network-related problems that exceed standard capacity.
  • Assist in monitoring and maintaining the integrity and performance of core network and server infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Oversee the installation and maintenance of wireless networks and systems, guaranteeing secure and efficient operations.
  • Provide expert input into updates and configurations for Fortinet and unified communications environments.
  • Manage escalated issues related to Apple fleet and JAMF platform.

Requirements:

  • A relevant qualification in IT or Computer Science.
  • Proven experience in technical support roles involving mobile device management, network operations, and security.
  • Extensive working knowledge of JAMF, unified communications, and Fortinet firewall systems.
  • Ability to guide and support frontline technical staff, providing mentorship and expertise to enhance their problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills to resolve complex issues.
  • A calm and friendly demeanor with excellent communication skills.
