We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of the team, you will work collaboratively with clients and stakeholders to deliver person-centred services that enhance quality of life, empowering individuals with a disability to live a full life and achieve their goals.

Reporting to the Team Leader, you will have key responsibilities in implementing an evidence-based approach within behaviour support services, developing and overseeing behaviour support plans in consultation with the client, and other stakeholders. You will ensure practices comply with relevant NDIS regulations and actively participate in regular supervision.

To be successful in this role, you must have a positive attitude, be adaptive and flexible to the changing needs of clients and the business. You will also need to be able to develop individualised strategies that are responsive to the person's needs and are in line with their goals.

Job Requirements

***To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will ideally have the following:

  • Be registered with the NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission as a proficient Behaviour Support Practitioner
  • Hold a tertiary qualification in an allied health or related field (desirable but not required)
  • Experience in implementing evidence-based frameworks and delivering holistic supports
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically and problem solve
  • An understanding and knowledge of working within the NDIS environment including with the NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission requirements
  • Demonstrated experience working with people with complex needs and challenging behaviours
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Current registration with the NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
  • Current Driver's Licence, own vehicle
  • Current Provide First Aid certificate
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module
  • NDIS Worker Screening check
