Support Professional Role

This opportunity is focused on providing tailored assistance to individuals with disabilities, working collaboratively with customers to help them achieve their goals. The support professional will play a crucial role in making a positive impact in people's lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality domestic support within customer residences, adhering to personalized plans and ensuring seamless execution.

  • Develop and implement person-centred plans that align with customer life goals, fostering a supportive environment that promotes growth and development.

  • Ensure the successful implementation of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans, maintaining consistency and professionalism in all interactions.

  • Manage administration duties efficiently, including expense tracking, mandatory reports, and other essential tasks.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in supporting individuals with behaviour support needs, demonstrating expertise and compassion in delivering care.

  • Extensive experience following PBS plans with consistency and professionalism, showcasing ability to adapt to diverse situations.

  • Previous experience with manual handling, medication administration, and personal care responsibilities.

  • Ability to manage complex or difficult situations with patience, maturity, and effective communication skills.

  • Certification in Disability, Individual Support, or higher is a requirement for this position, ensuring candidates possess the necessary knowledge and skills.

  • Willingsness to utilize your fully insured and registered private vehicle for work-related purposes.
