Job Opportunity

Hearing Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lawyer to join our team. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in supporting the Head of Legal in various matters, including leasing and property, commercial contracts, and risk and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and advise on property matters, including leases, option leases, car parking licenses, and short-term licenses.
  • Review and draft commercial contracts with suppliers and contractors.
  • Provide administrative support to the Head of Legal, including updating status reports, undertaking research, and drafting correspondence.

Requirements

  • Approximately 5 years' experience as a lawyer in mid or top-tier law firms or in-house in a reputable organization.
  • A current Legal Practicing Certificate.
  • Solid experience in property matters and commercial matters.
  • Solid experience in drafting contracts.
  • Knowledge of laws, particularly retail leases legislation in all states.
  • An eye for detail and producing quality advice and work in an efficient manner and within tight timeframes.
  • Ability to work autonomously and a collaborative, positive can-do attitude.
