Senior Laboratory Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Laboratory Manager to lead our laboratory operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality pathology services, driving operational excellence, and maintaining full compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Oversee daily laboratory operations, monitoring quality control procedures and supervising all scientific, administrative, technical, and ancillary functions.
  • Provide scientific and technical expertise, as well as guidance and support to laboratory staff.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of laboratory services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in science, with excellent people and commercial acumen. They will also possess a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and cultivating effective professional relationships.

A strong leader with exceptional communication skills, time management skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment is required. The successful candidate will hold tertiary qualifications in Science, Applied Science, Laboratory Medicine or equivalent, as well as experience in laboratory supervision and leadership.
