About the Opportunity

This position plays a critical role in ensuring our homes meet Aged Care Quality Standards by identifying non-compliance, preparing homes for accreditation, and supporting unannounced assessments.

  • Collaborate with operational management teams to achieve compliance and provide feedback to enhance understanding and operations.
  • Develop knowledge and capability of Operational Management and Leadership Teams in clinical governance and compliance.
  • Conduct internal audits based on risk assessments, ensuring coverage of ACQSC and NDIS Standards.
  • Develop and implement Plans for Continuous Improvement (PCI) with the Operations team to sustain compliance.
  • Support accreditation preparation for ACQSC and NDIS, providing remote or on-site assistance as required.

Key qualifications include:

  • Current APHRA registration as a Registered Nurse with at least 4 years of experience.
  • Proven expertise in clinical governance and quality compliance.
  • Strong leadership skills with emotional intelligence to influence effectively.
  • Skilled in report writing, communication, and clinical information systems.
