Main Responsibilities- Maintain the vessel's electrical and electronic systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Avoid accidents by adopting safe working practices and adhering to industry standards.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks as required to prevent equipment failure and reduce downtime.
- First-level maintenance of communications, radio, and navigation equipment to ensure seamless operation.
- Support the safe and efficient operation of electrical equipment during cargo operations.
- Educational requirement: AMSA Marine Order 72 – Electro-Technical Officer
- Australian Citizen or unlimited Australian Working Rights
- Hold, or be eligible to obtain, a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)
- Minimum 12 months relevant experience in electro-technical roles with a focus on electrical maintenance and repair.
