We are seeking a skilled Allied Health Assistant to provide high-quality support to our paediatric team in Bankstown and Fairfield Community Health Centre.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical support to allied health professionals in delivering paediatric Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy services.
  • Assist with individual and group therapy programs, prepare resources, and complete clinical administrative tasks.
  • Engage directly with children and families, demonstrating empathy and cultural sensitivity.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, prioritizing tasks effectively and managing workload while working independently and within scope of practice.

Requirements

  • Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or relevant qualification or minimum 12 months full-time equivalent relevant experience with commitment to undertake the Certificate IV in AHA within 12 month period.
  • Desirable skills and qualifications:
  • Experience providing clinical support under supervision of an allied health professional.
  • Ability to connect with culturally diverse communities and commit to inclusive, family-centred care.
  • Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2).
